BOYS DOUBLE NOMINATION FOR NEW VOICES AWARDS
We’re thrilled to announce a double nomination for BOYS at the Edinburgh TV Festival’s New Voice Awards! Ashley Walters has been shortlisted for best Debut Director, and Jerome Holder has been selected for the Debut Writer award. Both did amazing work on this short film and are so deserving of this recognition. Congratulations to you both from the entire SLNda family - we couldn’t be more proud!
BOYS NOMINATION FOR BROADCAST AWARD
SLNda’s first short film, BOYS, has been officially shortlisted for Best Single Drama at the 2022 Broadcast Awards. It’s a huge honour for our film to be up against some of the best television of the year, and with a first-time director and first-time actors leading the film, this is an incredible achievement for everyone involved!
CHANNEL 4 EMERGING INDIE FUND SELECTION
We're proud to announce that Channel 4 has selected SLNda for a Discretionary Award of their Emerging Indie Fund! As an independent company, this support means more to us than we can say and we're so excited to grow with the backing of this fantastic initiative. Thank you, Channel 4!
PACT FUTURE30 SELECTION
Pact has selected SLNda as a Future30 company. This brand new scheme “will support 30 of the UK’s most exciting emerging indies who have the potential to become the sector’s gamechangers of the future.” SLNda is so grateful for Pact’s support and we can’t wait to begin working alongside such a renowned, forward thinking organisation.
NOMINATION FOR BOYS ACTOR
We are over the moon to announce that BOYS star, Hector Abbott, has been shortlisted in the Breakthrough Talent category of the Edinburgh TV Awards. Hector delivered an incredible performance in his debut role, and we could not be more proud of him.

Our first production BOYS will be airing on Sky Arts (Freeview channel 11) at 10pm on Wednesday, 20th January 2021. It will also be available to stream on NOW TV. Directed by Ashley Walters and written by Jerome Holder.

SLNda is excited to announce a brand new collaboration with FILM4, and Nick Love’s company, ROGUE STATE. We will be working with Nick on an original feature film but that’s all we can say for now. Stay tuned for details… !

We’re thrilled to be working on our first short film, which our very own Ashley Walters will direct. The screenplay was written by promising new talent Jerome Holder, whose work we’re proud to champion. Huge thank you to Sky Studios for believing in our vision and backing this production!
SLNDA | VERTIGO FILMS
SLNda is delighted to announce that we’ve signed a co-production deal with Vertigo Films! The project is a television drama inspired by Ashley Walters’ experiences growing up in London’s pirate radio scene in the 1990’s. It’s a project very close to our hearts and we couldn’t have hoped for a better partner on this production.
